Sharing the Love of Christ

At Mill Creek UMC, we are dedicated to spreading the love of Christ far beyond our sanctuary walls. Our mission efforts are rooted in the belief that as followers of Jesus, it's our calling to care for the "least of these" as mentioned in Matthew 25:40. We proudly engage in two vital missions, a monthly food pantry and sending care boxes to the Navajo reservation in New Mexico and Arizona during the Christmas season.

Monthly Food Pantry:

In our local community, we run a monthly food pantry to provide essential sustenance to those in need. We believe in offering a helping hand to our neighbors who may be struggling with food insecurity. The food pantry is not just about providing nourishment for the body; it's about nourishing the soul by sharing Christ's love through compassionate acts of service.

The Food Pantry is open from 9-11 on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Elder Boxes:

During the Christmas season, we extend our love and support to the elders in the Native American community. We use a clothes basket and fill it with staples the Elders can use throughout the year

These missions are not just about the practical assistance we provide; they are a way for us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Through these efforts, we aim to share the love of Christ with those who may need it most, offering hope, compassion, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

Join us in these transformative missions and be part of our commitment to caring for the "least of these" as we strive to make a difference in the lives of those we touch, near and far. Together, we can embody the love of Christ in a tangible and meaningful way.
